Suzanne S. Lentz, M.C.D, CCC-SLP received her Masters of Communication Disorders from LSU Medical Center in 1992. Shortly after graduation, she started working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in individuals with neurologic insults. She has worked in the field of neurological rehabilitation for over 29 years. In 2011, Suzanne opened her first residential rehabilitation facility for adults with acquired brain injury in Ponchatoula, LA. In 2019, she opened the one and only facility in Mississippi. Her latest venture opened in 2021 in Covington, LA. Suzanne oversees the clinical, and business operations of all three facilities ensuring quality care and comprehensive programming. The foundation for her success is the client centered approach to the programming provided. TASS (Ponchatoula and Crystal Springs) has achieved the prestigious CARF Accreditation, the gold standard of care in the industry. Suzanne is a founding member of the Brain Injury Association of Louisiana, where she has sat on their board since the organization began in 2005. She also holds a governor appointed seat on the Louisiana Rehabilitation Council.

Howard T. Katz, M.D., serves as Medical Director of TASS Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center in Ponchatoula, LA, Neurologic Rehabilitation Living Center in Covington, LA, and Hammond Place in Hammond, LA. He is also medical director of Southern Healthcare, Mid-South Rehab Services and 360 Total Rehabilitation in MS. He is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and resident of Madison, Mississippi. Dr. Katz received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts. He currently practices in Jackson, MS.
Dr. Katz is board certified in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, board certified in the Subspecialties of Spinal Cord Injury Medicine and Brain Injury Medicine, and certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He enjoys membership with multiple professional associations, some of which include the American Medical Association, American Academy of Home Care Physicians, and the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. He has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of Mississippi since 1987 when it was founded- a position he is proud to still hold.

Amy Dempsey is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where she earned her bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy. She has been a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) for over 20 years. She has served as the director of recreation therapy in long term care as well as specialty care settings caring for patients with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and development disabilities. Currently, Amy is the director of NRC-TASS in Crystal Springs, MS. She utilizes her passion for helping others, knowledge and skills in recreation therapy, and brain injuries to develop programs for clients, as well as training and developing staff. Outside of work, Amy loves gardening, hunting, fishing, and raising farm animals. She is a Mississippi native, born and raised in Brandon, MS and currently resides in Crystal Springs with her husband and three children.
