Where have we been lately??
We are incredibly proud to announce that we have made it through another CARF accreditation! NRC TASS has been accredited for another 3 years!
Thank you to CARF for continuing to help us improve the quality of our services.
Therapy in many forms!
This week our clients enjoyed practicing their fine motor skills and had a fun day of baking! Working on daily living skills at any level is essential to programming at NRC TASS. We love focusing therapies around client interests.
We’ve said it once, we’ll say it again, FUNCTIONAL REHAB!! The core of rehabilitation at NRC TASS is functional rehab. Using real skills that would be used in our client’s every day life. Making it fun is just an added bonus!!

‘A taste of Jamaica’
In June, we spotlighted Jamaica the for the month. Each week enjoying different cuisine and learning new trivia facts!
Keep up to date with our social media to see what we do in July also!
Today is too pretty you would think this was a green screen!
One the most amazing features at NRC TASS is the land. We are located on 11 BEAUTIFUL acres with a basketball area, chicken coop, and gardens!
Each month, NRC TASS will follow one country and learn about the food and culture. This month we enjoyed learning about Greece and enjoyed a royal feast!
Enjoying the outdoors as much as we can! Each of our clients goes on at least one one-on-one outing and a group outing each week as part of our community re-entry program.
Horticulture therapy in full swing this spring!! Keep up with our amazing veggies, seasonings, and fruits!!

Birthdays and good deeds! This weekend we celebrated one of our client’s birthdays and delivered cupcakes to our local fire department as a thank you for all of their help during the freeze a couple weeks ago. We truly are thankful for the community we live in here in Crystal Springs, MS.
We can only hope someone gets this excited to talk to us one day☺️☺️
FaceTime calls from family has been essential during the pandemic and continues to be a daily occurrence.
This week has been one for the books! We hope everyone is staying safe during this hectic week! We have been making the best of it enjoying this once in a lifetime snow!

We could not do what we do without our amazing staff. It was so much fun to throw a surprise baby shower for one of our favorite staff members to celebrate her new bundle of joy!
Make it your own!!
One of our favorite parts of the facility is watching how our clients make their rooms their own. We want you to feel as at home as possible and do whatever is needed to make it comfortable
This month we are going to be taking the time to explain the ins and outs of brain injuries. Each week will have its own topic discussing the different stages, damage areas, and what exactly a post acute facility entails.
We have found a new trail on the property and it could not have come at a better time! Everyone is getting a little stir crazy so it it nice to have a safe private place for our clients to get some fresh air.
The chicken coop is finally up and running! Our clients have absolutely loved interacting with the chickens and caring for them these past couple of weeks!
Taking advantage of the beautiful weather and getting in a little music therapy while we are at it! The house is always filled with music because our clients love it too much! We have sing alongs and dance parties that are too much fun!
This week we had our first holiday party! It has been an incredible 2019! We could not do what we do without our amazing staff! We cannot wait to see what 2020 brings!
